Picture Wall

One decor trend that is really popular right now is picture walls. This is essentially a wall that is covered with picture frames. When it comes to picking out what pictures frames to use, you can go with frames that are all the same style and size, or you can have picture frames that come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. You can fill these frames with pictures of your family that you love and treasure. Empty Frames 

Another fun use for picture frames in your home is to find old picture frames without glass in them. You can then redo the frame however you'd like by painting it and refinishing it. The empty frame then goes hung on the wall. You can leave these frames completely empty as a decorative statement, or you can hang single items inside of them, such as a key, an alphabet letter, a flower, or whatever you think would be fun and creative. 

Mirror Frames

Pictures frames can also be made into some gorgeous mirrors. You simply take the picture frame and have mirror glass placed inside of it, If you have a classic picture frame that you love, and you feel that it is the perfect size for a mirror, you can often have the glass professionally cut and fit to that particular frame. This makes a one-of-a-kind style of mirror for you, and it will likely be a piece of decor that you love.

They can be used to create a picture wall, the glass can be removed, and the frames themselves can simply be hung up either empty or with items inside of them, and you can even transition old picture frames into unique mirrors for your home, simply by adding some mirror glass to them.
